New Hampshire to Offer Bar Examinations on September 9 and 10

Bar examinations rescheduled from July due to COVID-19

CONCORD, NH — The Supreme Court announced today, due to public health concerns raised by the COVID-19 pandemic, the New Hampshire bar examination originally scheduled for July will now be administered on September 9 and 10, 2020. Additionally, the order notes that the Office of Bar Admissions has extended the deadline for receipt of the applications at the office from May 1 to May 15, 2020. Please mail applications to the Office of Bar Admissions in accordance with the procedures set forth in the notice published on the bar admissions general information page of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch  website or see: https://www.courts.state.nh.us/nhbar/index.htm

Because space for the examination may be limited, places for the exam will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Although the Office of Bar Admissions anticipates a normal UBE exam administration, if COVID-19 public health concerns continue, space for all those who apply for the examination may not be available. The Office of Bar Admission will notify applicants if any changes occur and is working diligently to ensure that, by expediting other parts of the process, as little delay as possible will be made to the usual November bar admission. Applicants should continue to monitor the bar admissions general information page for updates.
