Media Advisory for Upcoming Trial in State v. Adam Montgomery
Jury trial to begin February 6, 2024 in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in Manchester
Manchester, NH – Below is a media advisory for press who plan on covering the upcoming trial at Hillsborough County Superior Court Northern District in Manchester for Case Number 216-2022-CR-02372 State of New Hampshire v. Adam Montgomery. Judge Amy Messer will preside over the trial. The defendant is charged with these felony offenses:
- 2nd Degree Murder – reckless
- 2nd Degree Assault
- Witness Tampering
- Falsifying Physical Evidence (alter, destroy, hide)
- Abuse of Corpse
The trial is scheduled to proceed daily during the week from February 6-29 starting at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 1 of Hillsborough County Superior Court Northern District, located at 300 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH 03101. Parking is challenging near the courthouse.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin on Wednesday February 6 at 8:30 a.m. Please see the recent court order issued by Judge Messer for comprehensive rules governing media coverage of the trial. No food or drinks are allowed in the building other than water.
Please note: seating in the courtroom for media is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Connections to the broadcast feed will be available in the media room outside courtroom 1. Media Pool rules will be in effect for trial and jury view. Media covering the trial in the courthouse should bring credentials.
