Fiscal, Accounting, and Accounting Support Departments

The Fiscal, Accounting and Accounting Support Departments are responsible for all financial operations of the Judicial Branch.  

• The Fiscal area is responsible for the preparation, implementation and management of the NHJB biennial budget, as well as financial reporting of grants and other activities, and analysis of financial data in addition to oversight of the Accounting and Accounting Support departments.  
• The Accounting Department is responsible for processing payroll, accounts payable/receivable and revenues, as well as purchasing and fixed assets tracking.  
• The Accounting Support Department is responsible for Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, and providing technical support to the Superior and Circuit courts for their Odyssey case management system, as well as reconciliations of bank accounts to revenues recorded in Odyssey and the Supreme Court’s case management system C-Track
